Today, the III Conference on Internal Medicine, II Interresidence Conference on Medical Clinic, which will run until July 2, 2022, successfully began; The meeting is taking place in the Multipurpose Room of the Knowledge Center Park, Posadas, Misiones, with a broad participation of professionals from the Teaching Hospital. The activity was organized by the SAM district, Society of Internal Medicine of Misiones, with the collaboration of the Hospital Escuela, Parque de la Salud of the Province of Misiones Dr. Ramón Madariaga.
In this context, the Specialist Physician in Medical Clinic and Internal Medicine, from the School Hospital, Dario Trela, highlighted that “the event is important, beyond the care activity that we have as professionals, the academic activities promote the training of both residents , medical students and doctors received, continuous training makes the quality of care “.
Emphasizing the transcendence of the Conference, he explained that it is a national medical clinic and internal medicine event, endorsed by the Argentine Society of Medicine, “we have the participation of local leaders, doctors from the Clinical Service of the School Hospital, the SAMIC of Oberá, of Eldorado, of the entire Province and the region”.
So far in today’s Conference, the Debate Table was held: Challenges of the 21st Century Clinician: Role of the Clinician in the Hospital Setting, in which the Minister of Health of Misiones, Dr. Oscar Alarcón, participated. the former President of the Argentine Society of Medicine, Dr. Lucio Criado and the executive directors of the hospitals, Hospital Escuela, Dr. Miguel Dictar, SAMIC of Eldorado, Dr. Rodrigo Duran and SAMIC Oberá, Dr. Héctor González.
On the occasion, the professionals worked on the following topics: Arterial hypertension: What do the current guidelines tell us? While, on Saturday, the II Medical Clinic Interresidence Conference will be held, an opportunity in which the different medical clinic residences of the Province and the region will present cases with interactive discussion. Therefore, the medical clinic residency at Hospital Escuela will present cases.
