Al-Marsad Newspaper: A horrific crime took place in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where a young man shot his uncle, killing him on the spot.
Information revealed that the reason for the dispute was the lack of consent of the dead man to marry off his daughter to his nephew.
A video clip broadcast by Al-Jadeed channel showed the moment of heavy shooting in a public street, as well as the sound of a woman’s screaming coming out of the dead man’s house.
Al-Nashra website reported that the Lebanese army carried out a heavy security deployment in the Al-Laylaki area following the shooting, and the army is working to check the identities of passersby.
