The German club, Wolfsburg, clarified the position of their negotiations with the Egyptian national team wing, Omar MarmoushRenewed as his contract approaches expiration.
Marmoush’s contract with the Foxes expires on June 30, 2023, and therefore, Wolfsburg fears his departure without financial benefit at the end of the current season.
Wolfsburg was planning to extend the contract of the Egyptian international following he loaned him last season to Stuttgart and had a role in the latter’s survival in the German League.

Wolfsburg sporting director Jörg Schmidtky spoke regarding Marmoush’s renewal in statements to the German newspaper, “Wolfsburger Allgemeine/Aller”, and said: “At the moment, we have not been able to reach an agreement to extend, we have expressed our desire to continue it, but the other side does not want to extend it.” contract at the moment.
