Woman died in an avalanche in Tyrol – Austria

Serfaus – A woman died in an avalanche in Serfaus in the Tyrolean district of Landeck on Friday followingnoon. After being completely buried, the winter athlete might only be recovered dead, said a police spokesman for APA. According to the Komperdell cable car, the avalanche in the open ski area was triggered by the off-piste skier herself.
