“Our police officers were called to the scene around 9:50 a.m. because a woman, who was crossing the street at the pedestrian crossing, was unfortunately struck by a vehicle traveling on Portland Boulevard in a westerly direction,” said the spokesperson for the city. Sherbrooke Police Department (SPS), Martin Carrier.

Also according to the SPS, the lady was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, but there are no fears for her life.
