Baba Ramdev on public platform with the controversial remark that women are beautiful even if they are not wearing clothes. Ram Dev made the controversial remark while speaking at the Yoga Science Camp jointly organized by Patanjali Yoga Peetha and Mumbai Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti in Thane.

‘Women look beautiful in sarees and salwar suits. In my eyes, they look beautiful even if they don’t wear anything.’ This was the controversial remark made by Ramdev.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amrita Fadnavis and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s son and MP Shrikant Shinde were guests at the event. Ram Dev made the controversial remark in front of them. Ramdev also praised Amrita Fadnavis for her healthy lifestyle. ‘They always care about being young. I believe that I will remain young like this for the next hundred years’ Ram Dev added.

‘We strongly condemn his controversial statement against women and his derogatory views against women. Ramdev’s statement reveals his true attitude.’ State Congress General Secretary Sachin Sawant said.

After the video of Ramdev’s comment came out, Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal condemned the remark and shared the video on social media. “Ramdev’s remarks about women in front of the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister’s wife are indecent and reprehensible. This statement hurts all women. Baba Ramdev should apologize to the nation.’ Swati Maliwal tweeted.
