| Women’s Euro: Germany in final

London: Germany beat France 2-1 to enter the Women’s Euro Cup football final.

Germany will face England in the final on the 31st. M.K. Alexandra Pope scored a double for Germany in the semi-final at the stadium. Germany took the lead through Alexandra in the 40th minute.

In the 44th minute Merle Froms’ own goal brought France level. Germany attacked more in the second half and scored in the 76th minute through Alexandra. England beat Sweden 4-0 in the first semi-final. Germany is the team that has won the Euro Cup eight times. England have yet to win the title.
