WORLD MUSIC EXPO (WOMEX), the world’s largest music fair for world, roots, ethnic, traditional and local music and folk, invites musicians, bands and interested parties to apply for a live showcase or music films and submit discussion papers. The festival will take place this year from October 25th to 29th, 2023 in A Coruña/Spain instead of. The submission deadline is March 17, 2023.
The WOMEX call for proposals addresses all musicians, filmmakers and music professionals from across the globe. The official programme is selected from all the received submissions by an independent, international and annually changing jury, also known as the Seven Samurai (2023 jury to be announced soon).
