World Cup final referee runs an Egyptian league match

The Egyptian Football Association announced the appointment of a Polish refereeing staff to manage the Al-Ahly and Pyramids match, which is scheduled for Monday at Cairo Stadium, as part of the 11th round of the local league.

And the Egyptian Football Association stated, through its official account on the social networking site Facebook, on Sunday, that the crew is led by Shimon Marcinyak, the referee of the arena, and is assisted by Radoslav Siika and Adam Michal Kobsek as assistants.

He said that Muhammad Maarouf will be a fourth referee, with Thomas Musial, a referee for video technology, and assisted by Thomas Macniac.

Marciniak managed the final match of the World Cup in Qatar, which ended with Argentina’s victory over France on penalties, following extra time ended in a 3-3 draw on December 18 at Lusail Stadium.

The federation added that an Egyptian arbitration crew was appointed for the Zamalek and Aswan match, which will be held in the same round, led by Amin Omar and Nader Qamar Al-Dawla for the Al-Dakhiliya and Al-Masry match, and Mahmoud Nagy for the Al-Ittihad and Enppi match.
