Chelsea Football Club can confirm that the terms for a new ownership group have been agreed to acquire the club led by Todd Boley, Klerlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjorg Weiss.” .
Chelsea had reached an agreement in the past hours with the Todd Boley alliance to sell the club for 2.5 million pounds ($3.08 billion), with the new owners obligated to pay 1.75 billion pounds to invest in the club.
On the other hand, the German team coach, Thomas Tuchel, explained that the club’s players were affected by the penalties, which caused a decline in his level, but he denied that this was an excuse for the decline in results.
“This affects the team, of course, but I can’t say to what degree,” he said in a press conference ahead of his visit to Verhampton, today, Saturday.
He continued, “This decision has left an impact in the dressing room, and is a huge part, and the future of each individual is not clear because there are no negotiations with anyone… It is important not to take this as an excuse.”
