World Cup Qualifiers: Egypt beat Senegal
The Egyptian national team defeated its Senegalese counterpart in Cairo in the first leg of the playoff round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup “Qatar 2022”.
The winning goal came with friendly fire by Senegalese defender Salio Sis, following a shot from Egypt’s star, Mohamed Salah, hit the crossbar and bounced from Salio Sis to hug the net.
This victory gave the “Pharaohs” team temporary progress before the return leg in Senegal, next Tuesday. The winner of this knockout round will get a ticket to qualify for the next World Cup in Qatar.
