Salwa (Saudi): A shuttle bus service has been started at the Saudi border to bring World Cup fans to Qatar. A bus service runs from Salwa, the border gate, to Abu Samra, the Qatar border gate, to transport football lovers in Saudi Arabia. 55 buses carrying 49 passengers have been prepared for this purpose.

The Public Transport Authority has completed all the necessary facilities in collaboration with various departments to facilitate the transport of those going to Qatar to watch the World Cup matches.

Advance booking through the website provided for these services is required to use the shuttle buses at Salwa Gate. Separate car parking facility is also available at the place.
