As part of the World Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia celebrated on May 17 around the world, volunteers distributed flyers and other rainbow hearts. “The atmosphere was very dark,” said one victim. Until “a group of young people gathered around our table and started making fun of us”. More than a hundred young people then arrived. “They kept screaming, throwing bottles and spitting at rainbow hearts. We were helped by the teachers present at the playground, and they supported us until the bell rang. Most of the young people then returned to class”, before calm finally returned.
