World Dog Day has different celebration dates around the world. For example, in Mexico it is celebrated on the third Sunday of July, while in Colombia the chosen day is August 26. In Argentina and Costa Rica it is commemorated on June 2.
However, July 21 is the day chosen to celebrate World Dog Day.. Since July 21, 2004, in many countries they pay tribute to these animals in various ways.

World Dog Day, beyond looking for a celebration, has the mission of raising awareness regarding the need to end animal abandonment and abuse.
