“Anyone who doesn’t live somewhere in the mountains, grow their own vegetables and generate electricity from hydropower has a very personal impact on the environment. It’s the whole system that is destroying our planet. We have to talk about that,” emphasizes Shiffrin.

The problem: Athletes are a bit “afraid of it, because we are not scientists who know all the facts. But there is a problem for which no one has the solution so far,” said the American.
