World War III touches Crimea: Medvedev warns

MoscowFormer Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has warned that any military action in Crimea might lead to a third world war. He was referring to the plans of the NATO military alliance.

‘Crimea is part of Russia for us. Not just now, but forever. Russia sees any move to seize it only as a declaration of war once morest the country. Or if it is any NATO member doing that, it will turn into an issue once morest NATO. A third world war, a complete disaster! ‘ Medvedev warned.

He made the revelation while speaking to the media. He said Russia was ready for any kind of defense. Medvedev is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia. Medvedev is Putin’s confidant and one of his closest allies.
