WRC Mexico: Esapekka Lappi takes control, Thierry Neuville close to the podium

Esapekka Lappi (Hyundai) is leading Rally Mexico, the third round of the 2023 World Rally Championship (WRC) season, at the end of the first day on Friday.

In the stroke from start to finish, the Finnish driver is ahead of two racing cars from the Toyota clan: that of Sebastien Ogier and that ofElfyn Evans. Third on the road, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) ends its day in an encouraging fourth position, just under ten seconds behind the Welsh driver.
