– WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the commentators welcoming us.
– Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa then make their debut alongside Paul Heyman. The Tribal Chief asks Columbia to recognize him then the music of Kevin Owens sounds. He arrives with Sami Zayn and the tag team champions face Roman Reigns as well as Solo Sikoa.
Roman Reigns tells them that Columbia recognized him, they can do the same, let go of the belts and go. Kevin Owens was going to answer but he drops the microphone. Solo Sikoa stands ready to defend himself. Roman Reigns says Kevin Owens isn’t here to talk, but they don’t want to talk to him. He had a great career, but he has one regret: wasting his time with Sami Zayn. The latter says he also has a regret: he should have attacked him with the chair earlier!
He goes on to say that for his entire life, Roman Reigns was told he was the best and had everything he wanted. But he won’t have the tag team belts at Night of Champions, they’re not as good as them, not even as good as the Usos… the Usos are coming from behind to attack Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens! They then get in the ring and Roman Reigns checks his cousins. He tells them it’s their ring, he didn’t tell them to come. Roman Reigns leaves the ring shoving Solo Sikoa.
– Behind the scenes, Roman Reigns gets mad at The Usos and says he’s the one who decides, before asking them to leave.
– Sheamus is at the commentary table for the next game.
Brawling Brutes (Butch & Ridge Holland) vs Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince)
At the end of the game, Elton Prince is stuck on the ropes. Kit Wilson sends Ridge Holland into the corner, which knocks Butch down. The ref stays with Butch while Elton Prince gets loose then Pretty Deadly does his Spilled Milk on Ridge Holland. Wilson continues with the victory pinfall, while Prince returns to the ropes.

– A video that pays tribute to the recently deceased Billy Graham is released.
– Asuka enters. In the Gorilla Position, Zelina Vega says she gave it her all against Rhea Ripley, she showed she could take on the best. Asuka goes to see that she is ready.

At the end of the encounter, Asuka makes Zelina Vega drop with a Wrist Lock.
Winner: Asuka
– After the match, Asuka continues the submission hold but Bianca Belair arrives in the ring! Asuka leaves then tries to come back to the ring… before spitting liquid in the face of the champion who manages to dodge.
