– WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with a Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn storyline video followed by the SmackDown intro.
– The pyros burst then the commentators welcome us.
– Paul Heyman is in the ring and shows up with both Universal and WWE belts. The crowd sings Sami Zayn but Paul Heyman claims he’s not there tonight. Can we really imagine Sami Zayn as the Undisputed WWE/Universal Champion? The crowd cheers. On RAW, Cody Rhodes cornered him and told him he was trying to win a wrestling title, but everyone wants to make this story personal. So we have Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. But without those titles, there’s no Bloodline, there’s no Paul Heyman, and there’s no Roman Reigns.
Sami Zayn appears behind Paul Heyman and looks at the WrestleMania 39 logo. He faces Paul Heyman, he tells him to calm down, he looks tense. He’s not going to hurt her. If it was a month ago, Solo Sikoa would have come, the same for Jimmy or Jey Uso. But tonight, Paul Heyman is alone. Roman Reigns’ days as champion are numbered.
Sami Zayn got out of the Bloodline, Jey Uso too. What’s next for Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa? How long until the whole Bloodline explodes? The Bloodline is about to disappear. Sami Zayn hugs Paul Heyman and tells him to listen: Heyman can go tell Roman Reigns not to worry about Cody Rhodes, he’s the one who will bring him down.

At the end of the match, Drew McIntyre made his Claymore Kick on Top Dolla then Sheamus continued with his Brogue Kick on Ashante Adonis for the pinfall victory.

At the end of the match, Lacey Evans makes her opponent give up with a Cobra Clutch.

After the match, Lacey Evans continues her submission hold but ends up quitting.
– Behind the scenes, Jimmy Uso failed to reach Jey. He tells Paul Heyman that he’s tried everything…to no avail. He cannot defend the titles without a teammate. He offers to match the two of them, but Paul Heyman tells Jimmy he has to do it alone. Jimmy claims his brother will be there.
– A video of last week’s Fatal 4-Way for a spot in the Elimination Chamber plays.
– Backstage, Sonya Deville complains about not being in the Elimination Chamber but Adam Pearce tells her that she already had her chance. Chelsea Green arrives and also complains. Adam Pearce announces that Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green will team up to face Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez tonight, two people who are in the Elimination Chamber.
– Braun Strowman and Ricochet enter. Jimmy Uso comes next alone.
