WWE presented its Night 1 of WrestleMania 38 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 2, 2022.
– The WrestleMania 38 Night 1 Pre-Show begins with Kayla Braxton welcoming us with her panel of Booker T, JBL, Peter Rosenberg and Kevin Patrick. The panel discusses matches and we see promo videos.
– Behind the scenes, Maria Menounos is with Seth Rollins. Rollins says it’s all about fashion and style tonight is WrestleMania. Maria asks him for his comments on his potential opponent for tonight. Rollins says the world is wondering. Will we have a legend of the past? Like Stone Cold, a Hall of Famer like Booker T or Hulk Hogan. Maybe someone from NXT that Vince is watching? Like Bron Breaker or Carmelo Hayes. And why not if for an evening Vince gets into the ring. The only thing he knows is that whoever his opponent is, it’s his moment, his WrestleMania, since he’s a visionary, a revolutionary, he’s Seth Freakin Rollins.

– Behind the scenes, Maria is with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. Woods says he’s happy to be back for WrestleMania. Kingston and Woods say they’re full of energy with the Booty’Os. Kingston says after the Hall of Fame they went to the club to shake their asses. Tonight they are not afraid of anything because New Day Rocks.
– Titus O’Neil takes the stage with members of the Dallas community to highlight their effort in the city.
– The Pre-Show ends with the last comments from the panel.

Commentators are Jimmy Smith, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves for RAW. With Michael Cole and Pat McAfee for SmackDown.
– Tonight is WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 1, the special show kicks off with Brantley Gilbert singing America The Beautiful. We then find actor Mark Wahlberg for the narration of the opening video.
– The Cowboy Dallas cheerleaders arrive on stage to dance to ACDC.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship – Tag Team Match
Rick Boogs et Shinsuke Nakamura vs The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c)
At the end of the fight, Boogs takes the Usos on his shoulders, but he falls as his knee gives out. Nakamura takes the tag to continue the match. Nakamura deals with Jey and goes for his Kinshasa, but Jey blocks him with a Superkick. Jimmy takes the tag and splashes it to cover it, but Nakamura resists two. The Usos keep control. Jimmy gives him another Superkick and Jey follows up with a Splash for the account of three.

– After the fight, the doctors are with Rick Boogs to take care of his knee injury.
– We present a video about the rivalry between Knoxville and Zayn.
– We present a video on the rivalry between Corbin and McIntyre.
Singles Match
Happy Corbin accompanied by Madcap Moss vs Drew McIntyre
At the end of the fight, McIntyre prepares for his Brogue Kick, but Moss pulls Corbin down the ring to save him. McIntyre backflips Moss and Corbin at the bottom of the ring. McIntyre brings Corbin back into the ring and blocks an End of Days with a headbutt. Corbin dodges the Claymore and gives it an End of Days to cover it, but McIntyre resists two. McIntyre surprises Corbin with a DDT and follows up with his Claymore Kick for the three count.
Gagnant : Drew McIntyre
– After the fight, Moss gets on the apron, McIntyre wants to hit him with his sword, but Moss avoids the blow and McIntyre cuts the ropes with the sword.
– We present a video on the rivalry between the Mysterio against the Miz and Paul.
