The images of destruction from the bombing of the Ukrainian city of Kharkov leave no room for doubt: it is a priority target of the Russian Army’s artillery. Russophone majority, and a few kilometers from the border with Russia, has been martyred for days with projectiles and bombs of different calibers. This Wednesday, the satellite imaging company Maxar posted on its Twitter account some before and after photos of the bombings.

Kharkov, the second city by Russian population, and university headquarters, has already seen how historic buildings such as the regional administration or the University of Economics have been reduced to rubble.

In Kharkov’s main museum on Wednesday, two weeks after the start of the war, workers were busy putting the most valuable pieces safe from bombing. Many are by Russian artists. The building is still standing, but the windows have burst with the explosionsreports Archyde.com.
The Russian offensive in Ukraine is intensifying in the eastern parts of the country. The battles are being especially bloody in Mariupol, where food and drinking water are scarce and where, according to the country’s government, Russia has attacked a children’s hospital.
