The family is unable to speak

Miklós Szurdi’s death – understandably – shocked his loved ones. Although his health had deteriorated recently, they were unable to even think that one day this infinitely kind, loving, smart and wise man would not be with them. We contacted Barbara Xantus, one of his ex-wives, by phone to send condolences to Miklós Szurdi.

Thank you for thinking of us during these incredibly difficult times. The family and I decided not to comment on Miklós’ death. We’re asking for a little more time to warm up. I promise we will contact you when we have a plan for a commemoration worthy of Miklós Szurdi.

András Csonka owes everything to him

In connection with the sad news, we contacted the actor András Csonka, who has known and loved Szurdi since he was a young adult, who was not only a director but also a mentor to Pici during his career.

“It’s hard to speak,” began András Csonka. – Miklós was a brilliant actor, leader, director and friend. He is the spiritual and spiritual father of Família Kft. I met him there, and it is no exaggeration to say that I owe him the most in my entire adult life. I am who I am today because of him. He guided us in such a way as to get the most out of the actor, but at the same time he was able to remain a friend. He was an exceptional person, it is inconceivable that he is no more.

The last time I met him was last year, we celebrated Miklós with the company of the Vörösmarty Theater in Fehérvár, in 2023 it was his 20th anniversary that he directed there for the first time. He was already very ill at the time, we had a garden party, it was like he couldn’t even come down, but finally his son brought him down. It was a wonderful experience to be in his company, I am grateful for every moment.
