With just nine days to go until The Game Awards, new Xbox boss Sarah Bond suddenly decided to tease something Xbox 360-related. She published a post on X that included only the Xbox 360 logo without providing any context, encouraging her followers to guess what it was all regarding. Since Microsoft recently acquired Activision Blizzard, this may have something to do with reopening the backwards compatibility program and adding classic Activision games (probably mostly Call of Duty, but we know a lot of people miss High Moon Studios’ Transformers games as well as older Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games, Guitar Hero, etc.). There are also rumors that Xbox 360 classics Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will get remasters, so might this be what Bond is teasing? Some of the more colorful speculation is that the Xbox Series X (rumored to get a mid-generation update next year) will get a new look reminiscent of the Xbox 360, or that a mini version of the Xbox 360 will release a series of built-in games.
