Xbox and Bethesda are preparing to hold their summer conference where new games will be presented! Even if E3 2022 will not take place this year, the next few months will once again be an opportunity for the video game industry to present many games. Several events will take place during the summer period and the Xbox showcase will obviously not be missed.

The Xbox and Bethesda conference will take place on June 12, 2022!

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase conference will take place on June 12. Like every year, we will have news of Xbox Game Studios games, but also games from third-party publishers. New games for Xbox Game Pass will also be announced from time to time.

Judging by the image that accompanies the announcement of the conference, it is easy to imagine that a certain Starfield will be present at the event. The new game from Bethesda which takes place in space should thus be the star of the event.

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will deliver a lot of information on the games that will soon be released in the Xbox ecosystem, as well as those soon to join the Game Pass catalog, on console and PC.

Remember that for the moment, Activision Blizzard will not be present alongside Microsoft and Bethesda since the takeover has not yet been finalized. This should be done by June 2023.

What exclusive games will be present at the Xbox & Bethesda conference?

Like every year, the Xbox teams have been preparing for the event for many months already, and we can once again expect an avalanche of games announced and presented. If Starfield will certainly be entitled to a big presentation of gameplay, Xbox has many games already announced and for which we await news. Here are a few from the Xbox Game Studios games list.

  • Perfect Dark
  • Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
  • Project Mara
  • Avowed
  • The Outer Worlds 2
  • Fable
  • Forza Motorsport 8
  • State of Decay 3
  • Everwild
  • Contraband
  • Redfall
  • The Elder Scrolls VI
  • Indiana Jones
  • Wolfenstein III

With a timing of 90 minutes, Xbox will not have time to make a presentation of all its announced games and only those that will be released in the medium term will offer gameplay. Starfield will be there, but we imagine that Redfall and Hellblade 2 too. For the rest, it is still difficult to predict, but it is not impossible that the next Forza Motorsport also shows itself since the first test sessions have already taken place with a selection of players.

Games that have a high chance of being shown at the Xbox Conference

What surprises to expect at the Xbox & Bethesda showcase?

As every year, the rumors will accelerate as we approach the date of the event, set for Sunday, June 12, 2022. Some will certainly be confirmed, but surprises are likely to be on the way year.

As usual, Microsoft may dedicate part of its conference to the announcement of new independent games, including some nuggets that are often quite visually attractive. Between the different “World Premieres”, Microsoft will also make sure to offer a varied catalog of games from third-party publishers to complete its offer. We think in particular of A Plague Tale : Requiem which has a partnership with Xbox since the game will be available as soon as it is released in 2022 in the Xbox Game Pass.

The star of the conference is sure to be Microsoft’s flagship service. With the reinforcement of PlayStation on the niche, the Xbox Game Pass will have to redouble its efforts to continue to convince more and more users. The takeover of studios, including those of Activision Blizzard, also aims to release more and more major games in the service.

It is also quite unlikely that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be present at the Xbox conference this year, or that a debauchery of Activision Blizzard games is planned. The takeover must still be validated by the authorities and Sony still has a partnership with Activision on the franchise. You will certainly have to turn to the PlayStation conference to follow the usual long gameplay sequence of the next Call of Duty. Either way, Microsoft already has enough big games to show off with its studios as well as Bethesda’s.
