XCMG presents new drill lines at Fenasan 2023
XCMG Brasil, leader in the heavy machinery sector in China and 3rd in the world in the segment, presents its drilling rigs at Fenasan 2023 (National Sanitation and Environment Fair), new equipment that contributes to efficiency and greater productivity in the sector. The highlights are the XZ360E horizontal drill, the XZ150E drill and the XDN1000H mud-balanced crimped pipe tunneling machine. The fair takes place from October 3rd to 5th, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.
According to Rosimar Aparecida Jacone, sales executive at XCMG Brasil, the XZ360E horizontal drill is recognized worldwide for its efficient operational capacity. “As it has a high/low speed push-pull system and modern engine rotation, it allows for better adaptation, applicability and efficiency of the equipment”, she highlights.
In addition to the XZ360E and XZ150E drills, the company is exhibiting the XDN1000H mud-balanced crimped pipe tunneling machine
With dimensions of 6200mm long x 2280 wide x 2450 high, the XZ360E’s main technical characteristics are a weight of 10 ton, with a nominal power of 154 kW/2200 r/min and a torque of 12600 Nm, with push-pull operating force. of 370 kN, reaching a rotation speed of 140 r/min and a maximum push-pull speed of 36 m/min. It also contains a mud pump with a maximum flow of 320L/min, maximum pressure of 8 MPa, a drill pipe with a diameter of 73 x 3000 mm in length, with a maximum inclination angle of 20° and a maximum diameter of the backream of 900 mm.
The drill rig maximum push-pull of 40 m/min. With a torque of 5400 Nm and a maximum rotation speed of 160 r/min, the equipment features a mud pump with a maximum flow of 200 L/min and a maximum pressure of 8 Mpa. As well as a 60 diameter x 3000 mm long drill pipe, with a maximum inclination angle of 20° and a reaming diameter of 600 mm.

Another important piece of equipment for the sector is the XDN1000H mud-balanced crimped pipe tunneling machine, which has little impact on traffic, with the benefits of precise positioning and wide geological adaptability. “XCMG has always been concerned with developing equipment aimed at non-destructive methods (MND), so much so that it has been progressively launching a series of crimped tube machines over the last 10 years”, emphasizes Rosimar.

The XDN1000H from the exposed drill line has the following main features:
• Small size of the inlet well (minimum diameter of the inlet well is 3300mm and minimum diameter of the outlet well is 2600mm);
• High reliability (hydraulic overload protection system, generating more reliability than electrical machines, replacement of the hydraulic oil hose in place of the power cable, with good waterproof and humidity performance);
• High efficiency (hydraulic motor has high output torque and speed, double confluence pump, idle speed up to 1200mm/min, shortening waiting time), operational safety (exclusive 24V low voltage operating console, the deviation correction seal gives good sealing effect and long service life;
• Metal sealed main shaft;
• High degree of modularity (secondary crushing device as optional for rock disc and soil disc).
