The Xiaomi 18 Fold has officially debuted in China as a wide-format foldable smartphone, featuring the 3nm XRING O3 ten-core processor, a dual-layer ultra-thin glass AMOLED inner display, a 6,000mAh battery, and a distinctive cherry-red colorway known as Nishino Red, according to announcements at IFA 2026 and regional product rollouts.

Xiaomi has stepped directly into the folding flagship market with a passport-style wide body. Measuring 117.8 x 83.6 x 10.68 mm when folded and thinning down to 5.02mm when opened, the device weighs 219 grams.
When unfolded, the device presents a 7.58-inch dual-layer UTG glass-protected AMOLED screen. It boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a resolution of 1672 x 2364. Closing the device reveals a 5.38-inch outer OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1712 x 1168 resolution, protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0. Both panels reach up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness.
Durability is managed by a newly engineered hinge design paired with an IP59 dust and water resistance rating. Users can choose from Black, Ceramic Special Edition, Warm Gold, and the vibrant Nishino Red finish.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 18 Fold runs on the XRING O3 processor. Built on a 3nm node, this 10-core chipset operates at speeds up to 4.35GHz. It integrates a 16-core G2-Ultra NX graphics architecture alongside a dedicated 4-core Xuanjie NPU designated for on-device machine learning tasks.
Memory configurations range across 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X/LPDDR6 RAM, paired with UFS 4.1 storage options scaling from 256GB to 1TB. To dissipate heat under heavy workloads, Xiaomi incorporates a 3D ring cold pump cooling system.
Powering the hardware is a high-density 6,000mAh battery. The power system supports 67W wired charging via Type-C alongside 50W wireless charging capabilities.
