Xiaomi has re-released the CIVI 3 as part of Disney’s 100th anniversary celebrations. As always, the limited edition model retains the same hardware as the CIVI 3 that Xiaomi presented last month presented last month. As a reminder, Xiaomi equips the CIVI 3 with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, a 4,500 mAh battery and a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen displaying a resolution of 1080p with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Furthermore, the CIVI 3 features a 50 MP main camera and two 32 MP front cameras, like its predecessor.
As seen in promotional images from Xiaomi, the Disney 100th Anniversary Edition features a large graphic of Mickey Mouse pointing at the circular camera body, along with a “Disney 100” logo. Additionally, Xiaomi has provided themed accessories, which it is expanding to other devices such as headphones and fitness trackers. Xiaomi does not limit the Disney theme outside.
It extends these changes to pre-installed app icons, backgrounds, and camera filters that combine photos with a Mickey Mouse reaction and cartoon letters. The Disney 100th Anniversary Edition will be offered exclusively in China at a price of CNY 2,899 (~US$407) with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. As shown in the image below, Xiaomi has also included a Mickey Mouse box and several related stickers.
