A Xiaomi launched a new product focused on security for external environments. This is the camera CW500which is now available for purchase on the Chinese market and one of its highlights is the possibility of rotating 360º, thus covering a larger surveillance area of the home or other location.
In general, this item was produced with infrared and white lights, which allows color recording even at night. The equipment comes with a 6MP sensor with f/1.6 aperture, delivering results with 3K resolution (2,880 x 1,660 pixels). In addition to 360º coverage, the device has a 147º horizontal and 150º vertical field of view.
Other interesting features that arrive with the CW500 camera are the possibility of recording images with HDR. Furthermore, the security equipment comes with support for the Mijia app, also used with other smart products, such as the Xiami Smart Home Screen 10.
It is also worth mentioning the IP66 certification, which guarantees resistance once morest water and dust, which is essential for a product aimed at outdoor environments. Likewise, the camera can operate normally between temperatures of -30ºC and 60ºC. It supports dual band Wi-Fi 6 and comes with a speaker and microphone for communication and recording.
