Xiaomi’s Mi Band was a great success for being a cheap smart band, with interesting features and great comfort. In the Pro version of the Mi Band 7, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has adopted a format similar to that of the Apple Watch. Now, the company intends to do the same with the Smart Band 8 Pro. Today (10), Xiaomi shared images of the new Smart Band 8 Pro on the Chinese social network Weibo. It should be noted that, as in the previous generation, the Apple Watch-like design has been maintained. Therefore, the format chosen by the designers is rectangular with rounded and polished edges.
According to the manufacturer, the Smart Band 8 Pro has a 1.74-inch screen with 336 PPI.

It was also said that the wearable will support widgets and wallpapers from the user’s photo album.

Release and availability
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro will be launched alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 on August 14, 2023. Unfortunately, it is not yet known what the prices will be for any of the products. However, it is estimated that the wearable costs something around US$ 120.
