Xinabajul wins an important victory in Cobán, tightening the fight for permanence
Three goals from the Argentine soccer player, Nicolás Mazzola, were decisive in paving the way for Xinabajul this Sunday afternoon at the José Ángel Rossi stadium in Cobán.

In what was the most eventful match, up to this point on matchday 10, Xinabajul sealed a crucial victory against Cobán Imperial. From the initial whistle, those led by Pablo Centrone showed determination, scoring two goals in the first 10 minutes.
Mazzola’s early definition and an accurate header increased the pressure on Adrián Arias’ men. However, Blues captain Janderson Pereira responded with a great goal from a free kick, inspiring the home team to equalize with a header from Thales Moreira.
However, the local euphoria faded when De León committed a foul inside the area, awarding the X a penalty which Pizarro converted, restoring the visitors’ lead.
Despite Zuñiga’s expulsion in the second half, Xinabajul took advantage of the spaces, scoring two more goals with Gómez and Mazzola from the penalty spot.
