The AFA announced all the referee teams that will be in charge of the four quarterfinal matches of the League Cup that will be played next weekend. Yael Falcón Pérez will be in charge of the Superclásico between River Plate and Boca Juniors, with Juan Pablo Belatti and Miguel Savorani as line judges. Jorge Baliño will be in the VAR cabin, supported by Lucas Novelli.

At the same time, Darío Herrera will be the main authority of Estudiantes de La Plata-Barracas Central (Silvio Trucco will go to the VAR), Sebastián Zunino will be in charge of Godoy Cruz-Vélez (Pablo Dóvalo in the VAR) and Andrés Merlos will be the referee of Defense and Justice-Argentinos Juniors (Fernando Espinoza in the VAR).

It will be the second Super for Falcón Pérez after having taken charge of the last meeting between the two with a 1-1 draw for the seventh round of the League Cup. On that occasion, Pablo Solari overtook the Millonario and Cristian Medina matched the procedure at the Monumental in a match played on February 25.

The 35-year-old judge directed the two teams on 11 occasions with a fairly similar record because Boca Juniors had five wins, two draws and four losses with Yael Falcón Pérez, while River Plate had six wins, two draws and three losses. If the duels are tied after 90 minutes, a penalty shootout will take place, except to define the champion.
