The doctors at the hospital in Ioannina were speechless when a man entered and took an infant.
The man claimed to be the father of the child, but this was not established, while when he asked to take the child, the doctors at the hospital in Ioannina did not let him go.
However, the man managed to take the infant and leave through the back door. Afterwards, he took the child to a relative and there he was found by the authorities who had been alerted by the doctors.
The child’s family has not been located as the child was hospitalized following a prosecutor’s order.
The president of the workers of the Ioannina Hospital, Giorgos Floudas, spoke on Mega’s “Akoma Den Eides Tipota” show.
“The child was hospitalized from February 20 until today at noon and the official companion of the child was this gentleman. When the gentleman was informed that the child would go to an institution, there was a reaction.
The staff acted immediately when they realized she left with the baby. What is certain is that today the child was transferred to Arta Hospital with a prosecutor’s order.”
