Makkah ∙ Samasta Islamic Center leader M. C. Zubair Hudawi Wikhaya Award to Yasser Ettuweetil from Makkah. Yasser won the award for his work in Makkah and elsewhere during this year’s Hajj.
Samasta Islamic Center Saudi National Committee leader M. C. The first award named following Zubair Hudavi was announced this year. The awardee is selected from among the distinguished Hajj servants who perform their deeds during Hajj in the holy cities.
Samasta Islamic Center Saudi National Committee President Syed Ubaidullah Thangal Melatoor, General Secretary Abdurrahman Maulavi Arakal, Treasurer Ibrahim Omaseri, Wikhaya Saudi National Committee Chairman Farid Aikarapadi and Convener Dilshad Talapil announced the award. A native of Vengara Achanambalam, Yasser Ettuveetil is a full-time worker under the Makkah Central Committee. Bin Laden has been working for the company for ten years.
