Yet again! Another post office is closing in Hamburg

Bad news for Postbank customers: The branch at Grasweg 32 (Winterhude) closes at the end of September. On September 27th the doors open for the last time.

“We only close a branch if it can no longer be operated economically,” says Hartmut Schlegel, spokesman at Postbank, regarding the MOPO. The reason is the behavior of the customers. They are increasingly doing their banking transactions digitally.

Already the closure of the finance center on Hoheluftchaussee at the end of 2020 and the closure of the “Alte Post” in Schlueterstraße (Rotherbaum) took place due to the lack of profitability.

Hamburg: These are the customers’ alternatives
