Yoo Dong-kyu’s side refutes the content of Lee’s statement… “Leave Responsibility to Individuals”

On the 30th, Yoo Dong-kyu, former head of the Planning Division of the Seongnam Urban Development Corporation (pictured), targeted Lee Jae-myeong, the Democratic Party representative, and said, “It is deplorable that the representative of the public party is trying to shift all responsibility to a powerless individual who once helped him.”
Yoo’s lawyer told reporters as he came out of the trial on the suspicion of preferential development in Daejang-dong, which was held at the hearing of the 22nd Seoul Central District Court Criminal Agreement (Judge Lee Jun-cheol) that day.
Director Yoo Jeon said, “If he had helped with a tremendous project like the Daejang-dong project and had Dong-gyu Yoo, the head of the division, decided to receive the stake, common sense would have made at least a minimum device for the stake, such as writing a contract, but here (Daejang-dong project) There was no safety device,” he argued, “because I thought that the stake belonged to CEO Lee, so no one could touch it.”
In a 33-page A4 paper statement released on the 28th at the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, CEO Lee said, “I don’t know if former head Yoo colluded with the Daejang-dong gang and provided secret information, but as he committed a crime, he said, There is no reason or need to inform me, the mayor,” and drew a line with General Manager Yu Jeon. Even if it is true that inside information was handed over to private contractors in the Daejang-dong project, it is the intention that Director Yu Jeon did it on his own and has nothing to do with himself.
In court that day, testimony came out that Lee’s closest aide, Kim Yong, former vice president of the Institute for Democracy, came to Yoo One Holdings in early 2021 to meet former head Yoo and took something out.
Attorney Nam Wook said, “Around February 4, 2021, while I (Nam Wook) and former general manager Yu were talking with a witness in the Yuwon Holdings office, former general manager Yoo said, ‘Former vice president Kim decided to come, so go to your room’, so in the office When asked, “Have you come out?” Lawyer Jeong Min-yong replied, “I was told to leave, so I went to the smoking room.”
Next, when Attorney Nam asked, “I went to the smoking room together and asked, ‘Why is he (Former Vice President Kim) coming?’ When the witness (Attorney Min-yong Jung) replied, ‘Isn’t there a fact? That’s right,” he said. Attorney Jeong continued, “(As former vice president Kim left the office), I even remember what he was carrying, but I’m not sure if it was a paper bag.”
Yuwon Holdings is a kelp fertilizer company run by former general manager Yoo and lawyer Jeong, and the prosecution sees it as one of the places where illegal presidential campaign funds came and went. Former Deputy Director Kim is accused of receiving 847 million won in the name of presidential election funds from lawyer Nam on four occasions in collusion with former general manager Yoo and Attorney Jeong, etc. between April and August 2021, before and after the Democratic primary for the election of the 20th presidential candidate ( Violation of the Political Fund Act).
However, the judge said that the contents of the newspaper were not related to the suspicion of preferential development in Daejang-dong, and said, “This part of the newspaper will be deleted as it has not been done.”
Former Deputy Director Kim said, “It doesn’t match the reality at all and there are parts that are different from the records that have already been prosecuted.” The whole truth will come out during the trial.”
