Yoon Hyuk (real name Lee Yoon-hyuk, 38) from the male duo group ‘December’ was arrested and handed over to trial on charges of fraud.
According to the legal community on the 30th, the Incheon District Prosecutor’s Office arrested and indicted Mr. Yoon on charges of fraud under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes on the 7th.
He is accused of not repaying hundreds of millions of won following borrowing money from acquaintances or inducing investments.
On the 18th of last month, the court issued a warrant following interrogating the suspect before arresting Yoon (warrant review), saying, “There is a risk of destroying evidence or escaping.”
After being arrested, he announced to the court that he “does not want a trial involving the people.”
In 2017, Yoon was arrested without detention by the police for driving without a license.
December is a male duo group that debuted in 2009 and won the Singer of the Year award at the 2010 KBS Song Festival. Yoon has been active as a solo singer for a while since 2019.
