After arriving in Cairo, she searched for work to find an advertisement in the newspapers asking for new faces to participate in a movie entitled (My daughter) and indeed she went and due to her extreme beauty She was selected for the role.
And she was playing the role of her mother in the movie, the artist (Aziza Amir), whom she chose for her artistic name, Amira Amir, and the journalists at the time thought that she was her daughter. .

Amira Amir married 5 times, and the first was at the age of 16, to the mayor of a village in the eastern region, and she gave birth to her son Khaled. She married the director Mohamed Abdel Gawad, and the marriage ended in separation, and she traveled to America to marry an Armenian of Egyptian origins, and the marriage lasts for three years and ends with separation, so she returns to Egypt after that and marries an Egyptian army officer and has two sons (Amin and Bahaa).
