Egyptian actor Mostafa Fahmy issued a statement in which he responded to the allegations of his Lebanese media ex-wife, Faten Moussa, according to what he said, about the circumstances of his divorce in absentia.
Mustafa Fahmy confirmed in his statement that he had previously discussed the decision to divorce with his ex-wife, Faten Moussa, with the participation of her father and brother, because married life between them became impossible.
In response to her claim that her private property was squandered, Fahmy said in the statement: “She claims that I took her clothes and shoes, so everyone should know that I married her and she has one clothes bag, and I divorced her while she owned 18 clothes bags, along with private belongings I bought for her, as well as a new car I wrote in her name for an amount 400 thousand pounds, and the sum of 500 thousand pounds is a deferred dowry.”
Fahmy added in his statement: “She did not stop making financial requests that exceeded my ability, as she asked me to buy an apartment for her in Beirut in an area called “Raouche” worth 3 million dollars, and a villa with a swimming pool in a resort in Cairo for 12 million pounds, and she also asked to buy a chalet in The coast in its name is worth no less than 6 million pounds, and a chalet in the Ain Sokhna area is worth more than 4 million pounds.”
