Art critic Amr Sahsah revealed new details about the last days in the life of the late artist Samir Sabry, who shocked everyone with his death a few days ago, during press statements.
Sahsah confirmed, during press statements, that the late artist Samir Sabry was aware that his death was near, and that he was inevitably coming, especially after the attending physician informed him that his heart was very tired, and that he was liable to stop at any time.
He revealed the real reason behind his sitting in a hotel, and he said: “Therefore, he was afraid to sit in his house with the engineers alone, for fear that he would leave without anyone feeling it.”
Sahsah also indicated during the statements, that Sabri died exactly as he expected, inside his room in his hotel, as for what they found after his death, he said: “An amount of 30,000 pounds, a Rolex watch, and a gold chain were found,” stressing that they were kept pending. It is worth noting that the media, Bossi Shalaby, had announced, on Friday, the death of the great artist Samir Sabry, at the age of 85, after a long struggle with illness, and published a post on her official personal page via “Facebook”.
It is reported that, there are many artists who were keen to visit the great artist Samir Sabry during his stay in the hospital, including: Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the captain of the acting professions, the great artist Mervat Amin, the artist Ilham Shaheen, the artist Donia Samir Ghanem and the director Omar Abdel Aziz, head of the Federation of Art Syndicates.
