Thousands of residents of Majeria village, affiliated to Ashmoun district, Menoufia governorate, mourned the body of “Mohamed Abdel-Alim Badawy,” 42, the Friday prayer leader at the Al-Salam Mosque in the village yesterday.
Friends of the deceased had revealed to “Masrawy” that the deceased had pushed people to climb to the pulpit of the Al-Salam Mosque after the appointed preacher was late for Friday prayer, against the desire of one of the worshipers, who cursed him and demanded him to come down from the pulpit, and as soon as the prayer ended, he tried to take him out with others. from the mosque
His friends added that immediately after the incident, the Sheikh fell into a state of great sadness and his condition deteriorated rapidly and God passed away, which caused all the villagers to be in a state of sadness, and many of the villagers mourned him on social networking sites Facebook.
They added that the reputable deceased person loved his good voice in reciting the Qur’an, and his association with the Qur’an made him close and loved by all, and the funeral of the deceased is scheduled after the noon prayer today, Saturday.
