Al-Marsad newspaper: The WhatsApp application announced a new feature that will make the user able to access the unread messages that his memory has betrayed him back to.
This feature, which was talked regarding during last June’s updates, is now available to users to make it easier to access unread messages virtually. According to Sky News.
Now, the “WhatsApp” application on the “iOS” system, and the “web” version, through a new filter located next to the search bar at the top, will display unread chats.
The new feature joins existing media filters such as images, GIFs, links, videos, documents and audio.
It is expected, according to the “BeBoom” website, that the new filter will gradually reach devices that support the “Android” system.
The filter will help find and reply to messages that the user has forgotten to open and will make conversations more organized.
