If your favorite game has suddenly disappeared from Xbox Game Pass, it’s because Microsoft has removed the game from its service, as it regularly does with dozens of titles. Soon you will be informed before it happens.

Xbox Game Pass gives players access to a huge library of games at a monthly subscription rate that is often lower than the cost of purchasing individual titles. However, a persistent problem has been the departure of games from the service, particularly indie titles, which forces players to buy them to continue enjoying them.
To address this issue, Microsoft is experimenting with a new feature through the Xbox Insider program, which aims to allow gamers to stay informed about the status of their favorite gamesand this as soon as they are introduced into the service catalog.

Currently, this feature is being tested by Xbox Insiders in the Beta, Alpha, and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings. Microsoft simply wants to keep players informed of the games that are due to leave the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
When a user launches an Xbox Game Pass title that is scheduled to release soon, they will see a new dialog box providing specific information about the release date. Additionally, it will provide users with a convenient way to purchase the game, ensuring uninterrupted access even after it is removed from the service.

All will leave the service on October 16. For those who, on the contrary, do not need so many titles available, remember that Microsoft launched Game Pass Core in September, an economical version of Game Pass which offers a smaller library of 36 games for 6.99 euros per month.
