The authorities began the investigation and determined the alleged perpetrator of the murder.
A commission of the Investigative, Scientific, Penal and Criminalistics Corps (Cicpc) arrested a 33-year-old man for being involved in the murder of a 23-year-old young man.
The murder occurred in Los Flores de Catia, in Caracas, where the victim’s body was found.
The alleged murderer stabbed the boy multiple times, who shared alcoholic beverages inside a home.
According to Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc, the attack began after the partner confessed that he wanted to sleep with the attacker’s partner.
Rico pointed out that after the confession about the imagined intimate encounter, the attacker located a knife and inflicted multiple wounds on his friend, who died shortly after.
After the fact, the perpetrator hid the murder weapon and returned to hide the body in an annex to the house.
But neighbors were alerted by the smell of the decomposition of the remains after a few days and reported the crime to the authorities.
Officials began the investigations until they obtained the location and proceeded to the capture of the presumed person responsible for the homicide.
The arrest occurred in the Sucre parish and the case was made available to the Public Ministry.
