Young people do not want to work and are unemployed!

So I would not tell this young man of 24/25 how he should live, how he should, can or cannot work.

It is his life after all.

He does not know it yet, because he is very young, but he will realize, much more quickly than he thinks, that his life will pass very quickly, that he will find himself so quickly with gray hair, that it will only take a few beats of a butterfly’s wings to be able, at 50, to take stock of his life.

Perhaps he will realize that over a lifetime, we have many choices to make and decisions to make and that our life trajectories are essentially the result of the effects of our cumulative choices.

He will realize it in time, or not.

He will be subscribed to bad choices and bad reasoning or not.

It doesn’t concern me, even if humanly, I wish I could humbly help the greatest number of young people to “grow up”, but life is such that we all have to forge our own destiny by making our own experiences. Few are those who can listen to the “elders” and take from them valuable advice allowing them to progress more quickly.

On the other hand, what concerns me, what concerns me, is that this young graduate, as nice as he is (or not), can do what he wants, but not with my money, and not with the yours, so not with ours and not with the money of the community.

He’s just done an apprenticeship, he’s already tired, hasn’t found meaning, and is very much out of work at all of our expense.

I fully understand his moods.

I fully understand that he finds more joy in his chess association than in work, and that he regrets not being able to make it his profession. However, there are chess teachers, there are also chess pros, or even chess youtubers, in short, if this young person wanted to, he could probably succeed, but for that he will have to work hard, very strong, and have a taste for work!

So I understand all of this, and yet they have no excuse.

Not that I judge them, far from it.

Life will take care of making them unhappy, because there is no fulfillment in idleness.

Of course, when you’re 24 it’s not easy to find your path, your passion or whatever you like, sometimes you even have to accept that to succeed in certain jobs you also need time.

So while waiting for youth to pass, the best thing is to work.

If you don’t know what to do, it doesn’t matter, even if it means doing nothing, touch everything!

Explore.

Try.

Experiment.

Find out.

Travel.

Learn languages and different trades. Roll your bump. Earn 4 cents, and set two aside.

It will make you rich dear young. Not rich in money, but rich in human, technical, commercial experience and many other things.

If the pattern does not suit, change it, but work! Move! Live!

There’s nothing sadder than seeing this youth slump on their couch between Netflix, video games and…cannabis.

It is already too late, but all is not lost.

Prepare yourselves !
