The adventure continues for PSG, jostled but victorious over Sevilla FC 2-0 this Tuesday evening, at the Georges-Lefèvre stadium (Saint-Germain-en-Laye), in a tense match. Under the gaze of Sergio Ramos (from Seville), Nuno Mendes and Presnel Kimpembe, the young guard trained by Zoumana Camara snatched his ticket for the quarter-finals (March 15-16) where she will receive the winner of the match between the Slovaks of MSK Zilina and the Austrians of Salzburg who face each other this Wednesday, at 4.30 p.m.

Positioned at the forefront, the now accustomed to the first team put his team on track by transforming the 1-0 penalty at the very end of the first half. The Dutch hopeful spared no effort to get the balls lower before directing the game. We would sometimes have liked to see him more at the conclusion, but history will remember that he was decisive. Especially since he released a ball on his line, also, in the second period on a header from Salas which would have allowed the Sevillians to return to the scoreboard. Bad news, however, after receiving a yellow card in the first half, Simons will be suspended for the quarter-final.

Very committed match between Paris and Seville. Scottish referee M. Walsh showed 11 yellow cards in this round of 16. Not always justified, like the warning for simulation sent to Andalusian number 10, Carlos Álvarez (29th), who should have obtained a penalty after a fault by Ayman Kari. From the start, the Sevillians were very aggressive on the ball carrier. They were sanctioned by the exclusion of the right side Jiménez before the break. On the Parisian side, Djeidi Gassama could also have been excluded after a spit in the direction of this same Jiménez, which the referee did not see.
