Despite the size of YouTube, and Alphabet, the video-sharing platform’s parent company, some basic options can be years away. Like the picture-in-picture function, which has already been tested on certain paying subscribers, and which should finally make its appearance for all users on iPhone and iPad.
The platform has indeed confirmed that the option will be available in the coming days, for all users under iOS 15 at least.
