Friday around 7 p.m., a motorist was in the queue at the McDonald’s drive in Yssingeaux when smoke escaped from the bonnet.
He then benefited from a fire extinguisher from the restaurant to spray the engine block and water to put out the incipient flames.
The firefighters arrived as reinforcements to finish extinguishing this outbreak of fire, the accidental origin of which was beyond doubt.
