Yuki Tsunoda “I struggled with the balance and the performance of the car is quite backward” / Scuderia Alpha Tauri F1 Hungarian GP Friday free practice[F1-Gate.com]

Yuki Tsunoda (Scuderia AlphaTauri) finished the Friday free practice of the 2022 F1 Round 13 Hungarian Grand Prix in 19th place.

Yuki Tsunoda, who was upgraded in the previous round in France and showed performance to advance to Q3 in qualifying, was forced to struggle in 14th in FP1 and 19th in FP2 in Hungary.

“I feel like we have stepped back quite a bit from France, where the car performed very well today,” commented Yuki Tsunoda.

“Here in Hungary the balance of the car is not ideal and we are really struggling with balance so we need to find out with our engineers what the problem is so we can improve for tomorrow.”

“It looks like it’s going to rain in qualifying, but I’m not too sure how it will feel yet, so I guess it just depends on what we learn tonight and how much we can pick up the pace in FP3.”
