A video is circulating on YouTube showing a young man entering the Bellewaerde amusement park, near Ypres. The videographer shows himself climbing an attraction, dazzling animals with a torch and preparing a barbecue.
An investigation is open
The video was posted two weeks ago, but has only been noticed now. The videographer calls himself Yung Jamie. In the images, he is seen climbing the fence of the amusement park before walking around for a long time. In particular, he dazzles the eyes of the animals in the park with a torch and climbs on certain attractions.
At the end of the video, he even prepares a little barbecue. On his YouTube channel he writes that “Security in Bellewaerde is zero”. Police launched an investigation following a complaint, confirmed Glen Verdru of the ArroIeper police zone, “The young man is clearly visible in the photo and therefore easily identifiable.”
