The flagship store fully demonstrates Anthony Vaccarello’s new design concept, which aims to create a new exploration experience for the Champs Elysées, a world landmark, while also celebrating the stylistic essence of the original architectural elements.
The restored Haussmann-style facade is Saint Laurent’s new interpretation of modern luxury style. The bright and eye-catching interior of the building presents a series of natural and flowing spaces to create an engaging retail experience. Rough textures and exquisite details show contrasting tension throughout the open space, creating a new conceptual paradigm for luxury shopping environments.
The store style is carefully and ingeniously designed, maintaining the original materials of the building without losing the refined atmosphere, and cleverly guides visitors to explore a unique and harmonious space. The newly designed marble display stand showcases the precious charm of the brand’s series of works, while encouraging customers to interact with the displayed products.
The flagship store contains many design highlights, including a double-height foyer with a neon sculpture crafted by artist Cerith Wyn Evans commissioned by Saint Laurent. There are also a variety of exquisite floor designs and black-painted wooden spiral staircases, as well as quiet private gardens for customers to visit. At the same time, several vintage furniture works by artist Donald Judd are displayed in the store, showing a unique style.
